I know this is a stupid question but how many quarts of oil does my 04 GT require???? I have always had the stealership change the oil in my stang but I want to change it from now on. Some people say 5 quarts some say 6 quarts. Thanks for the help in advance.

Thanks anyways..... I called the local SVT dealers service department and the tech says 6 quarts. You would think someone would have known the answer to this but it's cool.

I bought the car used and it does not have a manuel. If I had a manuel for my car I wouldn't have asked the question.

Hopefully you are just a goof ball and not a *****. I thought this forum was to help each other when we have questions not to be an a$$ hole when someone needs advice.

You'll need to get to know Redass. He is fine, just gotta get to know his sarcasm.
The 4.6 will take about 5 1/2 quarts. It won't take all 6. (Almost, not quite)
