I have a 2001 mustang Gt , and I wanted to do something different , so I was wondering if it is possible to throw the 5.4l long block motor out of a lighting into my stang. I'm very mechanical so i could do this myself , I just wanted some input from you other ford nuts

Possibly. Hell, they did invent sawzalls, cut off wheels, and welders for a reason.

Myself and 100th96Cobra have a friend putting one in his 96 Mystic Cobra from a Navigator to be built up for NMRA Drag Radial class. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

Wasnt the Cobra R motor a 5.4? Or was that the 5.8?

Y2K Cobra R was the 5.4 and the 95 Cobra R was the 351 Windsor.
