The Difference in INSURANCE price ?? 03/04 Mach1 and Cobra
Im saving up to purchase either an 03/04 mach1 or Cobra.... I really want a cobra but if the insurance is going to be 400/month I cant do it... My friend with a mach1 had full coverage for 150/month..Do you guys think the insurance will be that much higher if I go with the Cobra??
I want a Hardtop , Stick
It will be under my fathers name (50 yrs old). I just wanna drive it so I dont know if I have to be on the policy?

Either one is going to cost you quite a bit for insurance. Even if the car is under your dad's name, you will still have to be listed as a driver which is going to jack it up. A lot of it depends on your age and the fact you are a dude. Your best bet is to have your dad call a few different issuance companies and see what they quote you; that way you will know up front.
I chuckle everytime I write out my insurance check...I pay about $42 a month for full coverage on my 97GT. SWEET! I guess there is ONE benefit of getting a little older.

Insurance depends on where you live, and your car, plus some other stuff.. But I would suggest being at least listed as a driver on his insurance and buying some beater car that you can say is what you are driving, that way you would only have to put liability on it and it would be cheaper.

i just turned 18 about a year ago i totaled a camaro and got a wreckless driving ticket for that, and got 2 speeding tickets not long after....i was stupid....but....my insuance now for the mustang is close to 140 a month and im on the car...not my parents.
