Default Need better traction 94 GT 452 RWHP

The rear in my car is stock. I want to get better traction, i want to remove my Quad-shocks to make more room for my tires but what else can i do for more traction.
I heard about lifter bars and to add pinion snubber from Competition Engineering to start any wheel hop due to removing my quad shocks. Any other idea's or suggestions?

pinion snubber is a good idea, helps plant the tires...control arms, subframes, 90/10 struts in the front (or 70/30). take off front sway bar, k-member, batttery in trunk, air bag in right rear like NOS said would help, fuel cell drops some weight too.

is this a street car? new k-member will lighten your car and you will feel like your are hydroplaning on the highway. 90/10 are not for the street either.

Best thing you can do for better traction that wont hurt your street driving is an upper and lower rear control arm upgrade and drag radials. Both work wonders for traction and won't degrade your street driving - only vastly improve it - for under $500.00 too

ok, if you have a few bucks to spair... say around 6-700, you should go to maximimmotorsports.com and buy the lower control arms and the torque arm... you will get the best traction with that set up.... they have some of the best lower control arms... and the torque arm takes the place of the upper control arms... go to the webstei and take a look, they have an explalination of what every product that they sell does

also ith that set up u can tyake off your quad shocks and have room for big tires... you can get the adjustable rear control arms instead of the non adjustables... they are 100 more but worth it if u want to drag and put hudge tires on... take a look...
