Engine trouble with a 3.8L V-6 2002
I recently was on my way to work when i was pulling out and the engine started to skip as if i lost a piston or the timing is off. however it's not spratic but it's on que when i rev it it's revs high but doesn't hesitate or anything i think it might be a spark plug or wire. does anyone know for sure? or had a similar problem?

Check to make sure the plug wires are on all the way....also pull the plugs and check for fouling, regapping wouldn't hurt either. I don't know much about the ford 3.8 yet but if it has a MAF then try cleaning the filaments with a non-residue electrical/contact cleaner...they sell some at radio shack. If you have a k&n filter sometimes if you over oil them the oil gets on the maf filaments and makes your car run $hitty...they can also gunk up over time and/or break.
