ok this is what is going on, my brake lights stoped working so i replaced the brake switch and now when i try to start my car it just turns over and my insterment pannel does not light up, like the service engine light, teft light, odomitor panel- none of it lights up. Anyways then you wait 15-25 secounds and it beeps 4 times and it does this 3 times, then teh insterment panel ights up and the teft light flased, but odomitor still does not light up. And then when you try to start it, i does the same thing as it did at the begining of the problem its a 1999 mustang 3.8L

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for awhile, then connecting it back? Just a thought.

check to see if you blew a fuse when u replaced the switch. fuses cause a lot of problems.

yea, tried that do you know if i keep the batter of for a few days does everything reset?

it should reset with the battery disconected for a few min. maybe bad battery. you said you checked all your fuses? maybe short in a wire some where.

Hmmmm..... Brake switch bad on a 99? How many miles? looks like you messed up your anti theft system, time to take it to the dealer.
