Plastic intake manifold racall wtf do i do am i covered wat do i do? help!!!
i was driving today i smelled collant fluid i pulled over and investagated the engine couldent find anything for about an hour than i see a 1 inch wide crack in my intake manifold on my 1998 gt mustang, is this a defectective part the car only has 83,000 miles on it 
and if it isint a defect i just bought the car at a car lot isint it by law that they have to waranty me for 30days or are they not eligiable for it please help me out on anything that i have asked thankyou

i found the place to see if my car was covered but i dont see my vin # on there this is total bs it is a collant crask wtf should i do people help me

to be honest, I'm not really sure what you can do. Laws differ from state to state. And it also depends on what was in your contract. Why not just call them and see what they can do for you? I imagine they should be able to do something.

the recall for this has expired about a year ago. When mine cracks, I'm S.O.L. too. Hopefully it doesn't crack before I pull the engine to rebuild it, because it's a repair I dont wanna do if I don't have to.
There a bunch of intakes off ebay for like $200 with the aluminum crossover, buy that and get your gaskets from Ford and do it yourself. It can be done with simple hand tools and patience.

very easy to see if it'snew. The crossover on the front of the manifold behind the alternator will be aluminum if it's new/updated

yup, if that front piece is shiny silver aluminum you've got the new one. Mine is all complete black plastic... I just hope it doens't crack before I overhaul the engine, so I don't have to R&R it twice.
