Im a young lad (18) so i dont have tons of cash around all the time like some and im looking for the most bang for my buck on my daily driver.

Ive heard that 5.0's (94,95 body style) are cheaper to build up ( more hp and tourqe) than the 4.6's (96-98 style). Im not looking to drop thousand's of dollars into one mod i.e. PI swap for the 4.6 + install. Now my question is, would it be better off buying a 94-95 due to this reason and is it "easier" to to gain hp/trq from the 5.0's than the 4.6's.

I wanna hear all your opinions, thanks.

i hope im not going to start a rumble between the 4.6 guys and the 5.0's [sm=icon_beat.gif]

The 5.0's are leaps and bounds cheaper to build and have way more parts avalible.

+1 on the 5.0. But whatever you do, get one that's a 93 or older. Although the parts for the 94 - 95 are still cheaper than parts for 96+... they are more of a pain in the *** because of the body style, and therefore are a bit more expensive.

but if you really like the 94 - 95 (I have a 95 and love it) I'd go with that over any 4.6 any day. Just remember that things will cost a bit extra (like superchargers, etc.)

The modular motors cost a crap load more to get heads and cams for. You'd be better off with a 5.0 car because of the surplus of parts and lower prices.

5.0 for sure. Since you're on a budget though I would recommend a fox body and then spend the $ saved by getting an older model on more mods.

I would go for the foxbody style but i already have one and i need a change ( 4 cylinder [sm=noooo.gif] )

This really narrows down my search, what do u guys think about the color Teal?? im not too sure. i'll hava check out the car in person.
