You can use the pi heads, but you gotta get a pi intake as well and some misc other items for the swap. The swap will add close 50hp and raise your compression to 10.5 to 1. You'd be making more power than a 99+ due to the higher compression. You may need a tune after though.

Slap that whole engine in the stang!!!! Do a camswap first though. You'll also need a cowl hood and custom exhaust. Probably some other stuff Im missing too. Its no easy feat, but would be cool as hell!

There was an article in a mustang mag a few months back that did this. It will fit fine, they used a mustang intake on the 4.6, they needed a spacer to make it fit though. It fits just fine, other than being taller. You would likely need a cowl hood though. And you would most likely need custom exhaust as well. Not a very expensive ordeal it seems. Look for the magazine article for a better idea of what needs to be done - looked simple as I recall.

it will fit, its not all that complicated. are you using a 2v truck motor, or a 4v navigator motor?

check out the technical forum for 4.6L cars for more information and maybe someone there has done this swap and will respond to your questions.
