Default Exhaust size & Brand for '87 GT

Hey Guys I need a new Exhaust of my '87 Stang GT to pass the safety.

I was looking on www.steeda.ca and found these Flowmasters and Dynomax. Which one is better for everyday driving? Also should I buy 2 1/4" or spend extra $$$ for the 2.5". I don't want it to be really loud. I heard the dynomax are quieter on the highway when cruising.

http://www.steeda.ca/catalogue_product.asp?id=1171

http://www.steeda.ca/catalogue_product_type.asp?id=464

btw. My car has 350,000km and burns some oil
I have a Hypertech Powerchip, Mr Gasket Electric Fan(2000cfm) runs at 180F. K&N Filter, GT40 intake spacer and King Cobra Clutch.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know about the second one listed, but the american thunder is the loud Flowmasters. I just removed them from my car because they are too loud. I'm pretty sure they would be quieter with cats. (i have no cats). Also you might want to look at Jegs.com or summitracing.com. they both carry the flowmaster system you linked to for about $100 less.

go for the 2.5" cat back system with the dynomax mufflers if you don't want to be too loud.

I have heard of severe quality and performance issues with dynomax. I really dont recommend em.

Go to mustangexaust and listen to the sound clips. They are pretty accurate.

Listen to the sound of the 5.0 with BBK LTs, a BBK O/R H, and a set of magnas

Welp, I'm gonna try the following when I get the cash again.

BBK LT Headers>BBK Shorty O/R X> Magnaflows(want something straight thru, currently running Flowmaster 40's)
