Yup, w/ a BFH!!! Take off the cotter pin and the nut. Now, where the tie rod threads go thru the spindle, take a big f'ing hammer and hit it on the flat part of the spindle until it pops loose. It will work. (you have to hit it hard several times usually) You can do this w/ any type of suspension component. Ball joint, tie rods, what ever.

I've used a steep taper fork.
As you pound the separation
pressure increases.

Advance loans ball joint-tie rod forks.Beating tie rods with a hammer will most likely ruin them.
Start the fork between the knockle and tie rod and hammer away.Try not to damage the rubber boot.
