Well a ingnition would be the last thing I would be doing save your money and put it toward some other part,A Ford ingnition will fire under 10 foot of water it is one of the best OEM on the face of the earth.we were running 11.16 121 mph with a supercharger on a stock ignition.just taking away some of the plug gap. IMO

I don't think you can beat an MSD box for the energy in the spark it makes.

Crane Hi-6 Fireball with the Fireball Coil.. It was super easy to hook up to the DuraSpark II distributor. Nice built-in rev limiter and easy tach hook-up. Clean install..

Don't bother with a 6a, get the 6al even if you don't need the rev limiter now it is nice to have down the road. If you going to use N2O in the future (or any other type of F.I) there are other ignitions you may want to look at. One nice thing about the MSD is that you can add other components to it as you need them

i run a MSD 6 plus and it does it all and like JD said you can add any thing you like ot the MSD boxes, nothin better than MSD when it comes to ignitions and for easy to hook up to ther enun easier. i run 2 limiters and 1 retard plus a manual timing adjust in teh car and it can be taken out of the car and put back in very quick everthing is color coded and super instructions.

i run the crane hi6 and fireball, i love it, very dependable now for 8 years. an ignition box is a great upgrade for one of your FIRST upgrades, now a factory ford distributor is great quality, just throw in some lighter advance springs and your ready to go
