Default Centre Stack Vibration

TSB 06 04 01
I have noticed since I had my Roush short shifter installed that there is a slight rattle, coming from it,and I think I found out why. This TSB suggests that it is caused by the rubber exhaust hangers near the tranny. If they have any play or seem loose, then they don't eliminate the vibrations coming from the exhaust system.
This gets transferred to the centre stack and to the shifter. The fix is easy and not worth going to the Dealer.Wrap the offending rubber isolator(exhaust hanger) with a worm gear clamp and tighten it up.I hope this cures everyones gear shift rattle noise.
