First mods on an AUTO GT? What do you recommend?
 

Hi everyone
Im in need of assistance, because im getting an Automatic mustang GT and im going to have some money left over. What modifications do you recommend i do first. I was thinking . . .

4.10 rear gears (Ford Racing)
Shift Kit (Ford Racing)

for now.

first mod I'd do is a manual transmission :)

Well, he's a newb...let him be...lol

I haven't seen your post, but meh...

The first mod is the same for autos and manuals (I have an auto GT too)

Exhaust (X or H pipe) then Catback
then gears...
then shift kit
(I had a good guy tell me to drive w/ the gears first and then decided if I needed/wanted a shift kit)

I'd throw in 4.10 gears, shift kit and maybe a 2500 stall converter if you have the cash or knowledge to do so yourself.

Couple that with radials and I bet you could rip a 13.5 or lower ET...

what is better Flowmaster or Magnaflow? H-pipe or X-pipe because i heard from someone that the X-pipe wont pass inspection. Along with that what is the prefect combination

As long as the x-pipe is catted it'll pass (same with a H pipe). Go with Magnaflow.
