3.8/4.6 THEFT LIGHT FLASHING CAR WON'T START
OK HERE'S THE DEAL I HAD A 99 V6 W/AUTOMATIC. THEN IN JULY BOUGHT A GT MOTOR/MANUAL TRANS(CAME WITH EVERYTHING
NEEDED FOR SWAP WIRING, PEDAL ASSEM, RADIATOR, H-PIPE, DRIVESHAFT....ETC.) ENGINE AND TRANS SWAP IS DONE ALL
WIRING DONE V6 KEY RE-CODED FOR NEW COMPUTER......STILL WON'T START AND THEFT LIGHT FLASHING LIKE HECK IF I GROUND
OUT THE FUEL PUMP SOME WHERE BESIDES STOCK LOCATION IT WILL START AND RUN FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS AND THEN SHUT
OFF. I HAVE THE ORIGINAL STEERING COLUMN AND KEY I AM PREPARING TO SWAP THAT NEXT SO THAT THE COMPUTER, IGNITION
AND KEY WILL ALL MATCH HOPING THAT WILL FIX MY PROBLEM AND HAVE THE CAR BACK ON THE ROAD. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY
THOUGHTS? AND IF IT DOES NOT WORK HOW MIGHT I DISENGAGE/REMOVE THE THEFT SYSTEM MODULE?

Wow! That is one hard post to follow.
Why did you switch out the steering column in the first place? You do not have to do that for an engine swap!

He probly swapped the steering collum becuse someone told him the pats sensor on the new collum matched the computer.
Something is wrong with your pats system, call,

they can set you up a sct tuner to disable the pats system, of course for about 400 bucks, but that for 3 tunes and the sct tuner and the pats delete
typical pats car will start for 15-30 seconds then shut down
either key is not programmed correctly or the reciever is messed up and not sending the signal to the pats system
