swapping a 5.4 in a v6 2000 stang
I Have a big project coming up, and I need some help. I found this website and it looks like the place to ask. I have a friend with a 2000 v6 auto stang. I have a built 5.4l that I am going to sell to him to swap in his car. Will this bolt in the current motor mounts, or will they have to be fabricated? Also, will the 5.4 bolt to the trans that is in his stang right now? What about a wiring harness/pcm? Should he go with one from a 4.6 gt and get it custom tuned?

will it fit, yes, wil it be easy , no
you will need wiring from what ever the 5.4 liter came out of, along with ecu, tranny i have no clue, better to get a lightning tranny and a lightning ecu. just have the ecu programmed to the 5.4 with no supercharger, also he will have to do something about the pats system
