**** those battery don't last I have went thru 3 they gave my $$$ back..I know auto zone sells a 1000 amps battery...I hope you have a hipo starter......I have ran 13-1 with a mini tork starter from a oval track car....just touch the key..roundman is pointing you in the right direction with the 2 batteries what youur needing is 13 amps to start this will get better as it breaks in.. a 150 amp alt. is needed as well

Just get a diesel battery, My uncles drag is pushing close to 600hp with the blower on it, He's using OPTIMA, I would recommend the highest volt one, They are very good batteries, Damn die hard batteries are the same as other cheapys, Then their is other batteries such as diesel one's thats like 24 volts, Thats would kill youre electrical wires.
