the car that its in is a 79 mustang 5.0 but i dont think this was the original engine and need to know what engine it is so i know what parts to order....and if this will fit in a 69 or 67 fastback bay...the engine code is C60E-9425-B

whats the vin number if its printed on any of the engine parts? i myself cant run a carfax for you, but i can atleast help you out with the year of the engine.

i never checked to see if vin's were printed on any engine parts... ive heard they do it on some if not all body parts somewhere, to help lower the chance of parts theift.

That part number shows to be a 66 4v 289 intake, if it helps any.

To answer your second question, it will fit in a 69 or 67 without problem.
