03 GT questiong about power
I'm not sure exactly when, but at some point Ford put only limited slip diffs. detroit lockers (call it whatever you want, essentiall its all the same) rear ends in the V8 equipped Mustangs.
SO yes, as they've said. Youre '03 GT (which is actually rather new) has a 2 wheel peel rear end
And that is only 1 way to tell
Clutch in + rev to 4500rpms + dump clutch = 2 nice black marks instead of one

RE: 03 GT questiong about power
Yea but if his diff clutches are shot, the car might burn out with only 1 wheel, and the owner is left to "think" it's an open diff. In that case there really isn't any good way to figure out which diff you have. True though, I think ALL late model GT's have limited slip diff
