Fuel problem help??? anybody?

Ok guys, i have asked a few questions before about this but i didnt get anywhere on it........I have a 94 gt, it has about 136K miles, it used to have a charger on it, but its been taken off, ......the car was running fine for a while, but then it just started sputtering while i was driving and then sometimes it would just shut off. Well,.....its been sitting in my driveway for about 3 weeks untouched now, and i need to do something about it. I just went and started it just now,........and it will run strong, i had it at about 2K RPM steady and then it just shuts off.........most of the time it wont start right back up, it has been a few times where it did though. I think its a fuel problem, but the fuel pressure constantly reads 40psi, until it shuts off of course. Anybody???????? Thanks

My experience is kinda limited on this, but I'd say you have a fuel pump problem. My only basis on that is a similar problem I had with my Jeep earlier this year. Started fine, good fuel pressure, went to drive it and it wouldn't go. I had it towed to my shop and they told me the fuel pump was bad. After that it ran great until it was sold.

I would second the fuel pump. It could be a pump relay, but it's less likely than the pump.

I had something similler to what you descript and had to change the pump... so I would second this also...
