Default changing rear brake pads help!

i am trying to change the rear brake pads yesterday on my 2003 mustang, just a regular v6. but i ran in to a lot of problems. do you take off the spring for the ebrake when you turn the piston back in place? well, i did to one side and it's pain in to *** try to get it on. but i was able turn the piston back in. Now on the other side, i didn't take the spring off, and i was not able to turn the piston back. do i have to clamp and turn at the same time or do i have to take the ebrake spring off like the other one's? please help, i am really stuck.

I changed mine for the first time and it was a pain in the butt. Not worth saving 60 bucks to have it done around the corner. I unscrewed the bleeder valve to let some of the pressure out, not sure if that was necissary or not. Do you have the right tool to screw in the piston? I had to use a pair of needle nose plyers.

you dont need to take off the spring, either go to a auto parts store and rent a rear brake caliper tool or use needle noses and push in while twisting
