Default is thi possible: z06 ls7 in 2005+ mustang?

I've just been putsin around in my crappy sentra thinking about getting a new car. In my day dreaming I was picturing an LS7 in a 2005+ mustang. Is this posssible? Will it fit? Does it matter if its a GT or V6 (since i'm assuming everything will have to be replaced anyways)?

Thanks for any comments

A Waste of money! A lot of custom work that you can't do if you need to ask if it will work. Probably can't afford it or don't want to because you'll never get even half of your money back! Sounds like a nightmare to me personally! Just buy a camaro!

a) i'm not looking to get my money back, i don't think you get any money back on a car the second you drive it off the lot
b) i can't do the work myself, though if this is possible, might use it as my first project car. I have always had an interest, just never the $$$

After everything is said and done, would this project cost < the z06 in your opinion

You could buy a new Vette for what you'd pay. You can fit just about any engine in the Stang's bay, but it wouldn't be worth while unless you do it yourself.

If you have the money do what you want if you can afford it. I am not going to tell you not to do it, it's not my money.

Good luck.

If you really want to do an engine swap, why not put the 5.0 Cammer crate motor in it? It would cost less and bolt right in.

fabrication and LABOR....remember if you can't do things yourself labor is usually more expensive than the parts especially if fabbing is required. there's big cube ford engines that would perform about as well with less hassle/flaming
