Default broken rear axle slip clutch again...HELP NEEDED

i have a 06 roush and i started hearing a groaning noise whenever i turn hard right/left around 10k miles. i brought it into a local dealership and they said my slip clutch broke which was at the back of the car. They replaced it and it seemed to be fine till last week and the car started squeaking in the back again whenever i turned. Im gussing it broke again. What causes it to break this often? and what does it exactly do/is it bad to drive on a broken one.? And this just happened at 17k miles.

Whenever you turn HARD to the steering
stops you are increasing the pressure the
steering pump puts out. This is the time
that you stress the system beyond limits
and usually brake things like hoses.
The pump reacts by squeeling, thumping, or
breaking.
NEVER turn to the stop.....

Sounds like the posi clutches are groaning. Believe it or not, GM used to make the best additive to stop the problem.

Well, I can't say that I know anything about the IRS, as I have only had experience with the 8.8... But, Corvette Guy is thinking that your talking about a problem in your steering...which he is right about, the power steering pump gets messed up if it is overexerted one too many times... I would think that the folks that worked on your car's rear end didn't replace some other part that is worn out, and is now causing this "clutch thingy" to wear out fast. sorry 'not more help...

Your differential clutch could wear faster if you did any burnouts where only one wheel spun somehow. Do think that may have happened? It'd have to be a lengthy burnout. Also if they didn't put the additive in it will groan when turning. (Mostly going slow in parking lots).

i havent done any lengthy burnouts because i just got new treads and didnt want to ruin them. As for the additive it worked fine after they repaired it 3 months ago..just started making the noise again..
