Sup guys. I got the dash out ,and can almost get the heater box out . Has anyone here NOT discharged the a/c to replace the core ? I tried to pull the box out,but something is holding it up (a/c I think) .But I dont wanna discharge the a/c.

I have the 2 closet screws outta the heater box,I just cant get the 2 under the cowl.

Any ideas ? crazy

The heater core has absolutely nothing to
do with the air conditioning.

Your right .But I have to pull the heater box back far enough to get the lid off it ,and pull the core. But the pipes from the evaporator go into the box. Its holding it back. If I disconnect them,then I could get it, but you have to discharge the a/c first .
