RE: Clutch in, Car wont start
I gave him several things to check when he PM'd me earlier this morning so I hope that helped him out some. Need to make sure OB's running strong so he can go to the Fun Ford Weekend coming up in his area later this month I think.

Quit making excuses and get to work! If I lived close by, I would give you a hand, but the best I can do now is "SLAP"!
I wanna hear good things from you about the FFW and how you smoked the competition!

I'm still not even sure where to mount my switch tho...
As for the starter/clutch I'm doing it tomorrow like I said.
So atleast that will be running.
Just need to get to autozone or something for some cheapo header gaskets for now.

As we say down here in the South, don't let the doorknob hit you in the *** on the way out the door!
See if you can get some Mr. Gasket header gaskets, they work good and are relatively inexpensive. No sense putting in el cheapo and then having to go back and replace them a second time.

RE: Clutch in, Car wont start
Well, I ordered the gaskets I had on there the first time.
Liked em, even no need for retorquing the bolts
Earls Performance with like an Aluminum seal or somethin.
Just need something cheap right now So I can drive around for a bit too.
Also, bought a fuel pressure regulator because im sick of waiting on the one on backorder from Steeda.
I've been waiting for FOUR MONTHS
and they say its STILL on backroder
So i just ordered a BBK one from summit today, along with a 1" phenolic(might as well use some of my cowl eh?)
And if I get them GT40p heads for my birthday, I'll use the gaskets i ordered today on the heads.

I would cancel the order from Steeda so you don't land up with two regulators!
and you can probably mount the shutoff switch below the rear lights down in the urethane bumper cover so you don't mess up your liscense plate or tailights either. saves your paint job too!
past my bedtime again! will mail you those catalogs tomorrow.

you wouldn't be drilling a hole in the metal of the car is what I meant. if you do a clean hole, the cover plate for the switch will cover it up and it will look like it belongs there.
BTW, you should get your Holcomb's catalog in two days, or at least that's what I paid for at the post office this AM. Then maybe you will appreciate the prices the boys down South have to offer on Mustang go fast stuff.
And you ain't sugar and you won't melt, so get out there and go to work![sm=icon_stickpoke.gif]

RE: Clutch in, Car wont start
...
Well first I couldnt find any blocks of wood to get my jack high enough to get my car on stands.
so I finally find this dry piece of wood about 3" across, 1/2" wide and 2' long
So I broke out the hacksaw and cut out two pieces about square-ish.
Get back outside and plop them on top of each other on top of the jack.
I start jacking and get the front tire off the ground, then the bottom board decides to crack in half.
So I let her back down and grab another piece of wood.
When I move the jack I also notice its making nice sized holes in my pavement.
Burrowing itself in the cement with its wheels.
Not sure if thats just happening cuz its wet out or what.
But I'm going to wait til it dries up a bit and when I have a ride to get some better wood to get my jack up high enough to use stands.
Egh, I want a lift
Was lookin thru this magazine at work and saw an add for this

Or how good they are?
