Clutch in, Car wont start

Clutch in, Car wont start
Ok, finally got my clutch stuff put in today.
Clutch, Pressure Plate, Throw out bearing, bellhousing, flywheel, rear main seal
Think thats it.
Anyhoo after the long installation of the clutch stuff, I go to fire up my car and it won't start.
It's making that noise when you Start the car, Turn it off, Then try restarting right after.
That like tCkkkkkkkkk noise (hard to explain)
But I got the car started by push starting it.
So it runs fine, but I just can't start it.
The starter worked perfectly before the clutch installation, but we had to remove the starter off the old bellhousing to get it on the new one.
So should I buy a new starter?
Would that fix my problem? Because like I said it DID work before hand.
Ugh and now that this clutch is in, I gotta drive very Sanely for the next 500 miles.....!!!!!!!
So, not cool.
And I was expecting this clutch to be really heavy, but it's not at all.
Clutch is much easier to push in than the stock one.
Oh speaking of the stock clutch
You should see the pressure plate.
It's missing a big chunk of that like skid pad crap off the surface of it.
Possibley 3 inches long.
Heh, guess that's why my clutch felt funny eh?
And to not lead you back off the main topic of this here post, Why isn't my starter working?

RE: Clutch in, Car wont start
the starter may not be seated correctly. take it out and try reseating it. did you say you put a new bell-housing on? The problem may be there also. It's hard to say, but I had a similar problem with my truck, put the starter back in, seemed to seat correctly but it sounded like crap when I went to start it. Had to take it out and reseat it.

Shouldn't be dead, Like I said it worked fine before hand.
I'll give that a try tho tomorrow.
That's if it doesnt rain and crap, which it will...
If that doesn't work? What next?
Buy a new starter?

You can pick up a new starter for her from anywhere between $30-$90
Might be a good idea if it's original

I say remove the starter, and reseat it. Make sure you push that cutaway on youre scatterplate and make sure it isnt in too far. Then i would put it back on and start it up..... Did you make it home alright?

Course, didnt stall *whew*
Yeah, plan on removing starter and trying to get it seated better tomorrow.
Exhaust sounds like **** now because of them gaskets.
Need some new ones.
Got those last ones off summitracing.
What ones should I get from Autozone?
I want another Metal to Metal seal like before.
