Default not your granny's exhaust

anyone ever heard of a Tube exhaust? not like cherry bombs or those coffee can things that civic owners commonly have. check out Car Chemistry and let me know if you think I'm getting ripped off, if that would fit, bad buy, good buy, etc. thanks for any input.

ive seen these before, summit sells just the inserts that are supposed to be fore both racing and street cars...its nothing more than a couple triangles that are inserted into your exhaust like that pic of the "phantom muffler" shows...i think its crap...it looks oh so free flowing[sm=badidea.gif]

it looks like nothing more than a resonator with elbows. which is nothing more than a $30 glasspack with elbows that theyre charging you $100 for.

so in a nutshell, bad idea? what if I wanted to just get some cherry bombs or something? would that be a bad idea considering gas milage, and the fact that I live in a neighborhood where old people have their cadillac keys ready for anyone with too loud of a vehicle that parks 'round their parts?

VERY bad idea. youve got a V6. its gonna sound like sh** with somethin that free flowing. dont get cherry bombs or any straight through muffler at all. it will probably sound very very ricey

Honestly, the only exhaust I have heard on a sixxer that I liked was true duals going into flowmaster 40 series.

just get some force muffs from summitracing.com or go to a muffler shop that stocks flowmaster knockoffs, it'll be like $60 for the pair.
