I got caught in a flash flood on my way home from work, any way im pretty sure my rear axle was 100% under water :( what needs to happen so I dont need to rebuild my whole axle assembly???

Where you driving around with the diff cover off?:D You will be fine if your worried just change the fluid in the rear.
People put the rears under water all the time. You ever seen a truck back a boat into the water.

yeah you should be fine just check the vent tube and see how high above the rear it is . But a good rear diff service ne er hurts anything

Off-roaders will change the diff fluid after running under water. Same goes for the people that back their boats into the water and submerge the rear (if they want their vehicle to run longer, anyway).
