I have a small leak on the coolant hose that runs under the intake manifold[]

How hard is it to remove the manifold to get at the hose ?

not very difficult...i would get a haynes repair manual from auto zone etc if you feel unsure. it will come in handy over the years anyway. also put this in the 4.6 section where they'll know more about your POS plastic manifold. i heard they crack very often

Well, I started by taking the alternator off so that I could stick my hand toward the bypass hose under the manifold. It turns out the leak is not A/F but oil most likely from the head [&:]

It may be seepage that pools in the valey between the two heads.....

I did not continue to remove the manifold since that will probably have nothing to do with oil
