Default newbie lowering question

I wanna lower my 2000 V6. I am wondering whether I can replace the springs only and use the stock structs.

I had a Probe before. They recommend to replace the structs when put on the lowering springs.

So, not sure how Stangs go about it. Anyone can give me an answer? Thanks.

Default RE: newbie lowering question

ya replace them with hi performance ones
go with Strange 10 way adjustable shocks, i love them, i got them on my 88 they are like a 351 for 2 struts and 2 shocks not bad huh? and for springs go with Eibach pro kit 1-1.5" drop with maximum motorsports coil isolators
