Anyone ever have the oil pressure gaugae peak when you stop? Mine just started doing it, will show normal pressure while in motion but then peak when I come t a stop.

Have a feeling it's directly related to the wiring harness which is loosing its plastic coating at a very fast rate. Now that I need the defroster I find that when I move the select lever through the A/C positions the motor dies (electrical short) and then if I select the defroster the engine dies.

I have noticed that switching to defroster (before this strangeness) the engine speed increases. If I can locate the wiring that causes this I hope I can locate the short causing my current problem.

Any ideas? (Besides dumoing the car on someone else?)
