trunk won't open!!!!!!!
 

alright new car.. for me at least, 96 gt, and it has keyless entry remote. all the locks work fine, but the whole car had to be re-keyed cuz someone tried to break into it before i had it. and theres no key to the trunk, so the blue trunk button on the remote hits the solenoid, and you hear the pop, but no movement of trunk lid. the "yellow button" inside glove box does the same thing. i cant get through to the trunk from the back side cuz i have a mess of subs. its real tempermental, but people wanted to see my setup, and it wouldn't open. so theres the pop noise, but nothing happens, i tried prying it bit, tried pushin the lid down some, but nothing. please help!!!

Take it to a dealership, probably needs a new locking mechanism.

did you try pushing down while someone else works the button and then lifting up on it after the pop sound?? could be the striker just needs adjusting so that the lock isn't so tight that the solenoid can't pull the latch enough to make it release. find a small friend who can climb over the subs and get in the back if all else fails. LOL
