So I just bought this car (1995 Mustang GT) two days ago, and I found a little switch by the change holder with a light picture on it. My friend tells me it is for the fog lights, I look on the front bumper and sure enough, they're there. Hit the button...nothing...??? Any ideas?

Bad switch? Burnt out bulbs? Bad fuse? Short somewhere?
Check the bulbs first.

...and don't forget that the head lights need to be on at the same time!!!

I had the same problem... the switch by the change holder iluminated orange but the lights didnt come on. I thought I had to do a rewire untill I checked the actual lightbulb, I crawled under my bumper and pulled the plug on the light fixture. Just twist and pull. To my surprise the bulbs had broken off inside the fixture. ( I need to get the broken glass out of the fixture when it warms up. Birr!!!!) Mabey that is your problem. . Replacement Bulb at autozone $5.00. Like others said.. Make sure your headlights are in the on position the fogs wont work if the heads arent on.


QUESTION: DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO REWIRE THE FOGS SO YOU CAN RUN THEM AND THE PARKING LIGHTS ONLY? (I DONT WANT THE HEADLIGHTS ON... JUST FOGS AND PARKING)
