I have a 96 cobra, and I thought I had stock 3:27 gearing. On mysticcobra.net it says that my car would do 45 mph in first, 77 in second, etc. I figured this was right, but then Casper posted his dads 97 cobra with 3:27's was doing around 2k at 60 mph in third. My car does around 3.5k at 60 mph in 3rd, so I am confused...........did the previous owner change out the rear gears without telling me? Help me out guys, thanks.

Oh, and I have to shift from first around 40 mph and i can do 105 in 3rd.

Sounds stock to me!

Edit: Turn your driveshaft by hand....however many turns it takes to mae the wheels spin once is your ratio.

IE it takes 4.1 turn = 4.10 gears
3.27 truns = 3.27 gears...
