Hello everyone, Im Jr from san leandro and im new on here... Ive owned my 1969 mach 1 for over a year and I had a few questions about my vinyl top.... I ran the vin number and I know its a mach 1 and its made in San Jose california... But people have told me since its a vinyl top those cars were made in Mexico only... is that true... Or was that a dealer pick. Please let me know thanks for you guys help.

Don't know if it's true or not but I think Mach's look better without.
I'm not against vinyl roofs. They look great on some cars. 1968-1970 Chargers, 67-69 Firebirds etc. Might be the flat trunks that make them look good. Sports roofs like yours, hardtop all the way.

69 Mustang fastbacks are the best looking Ford musclecar.

Yes, I agree, Im taking off the vinyl top on my car, I just had that one question... Im redoing everything on the car. I just finished my block its a 251 winsor.... it only had 120k miles on it.... Are you from the area? Thanks...
