You are kidding me right??? If a 5.0 mustang can't break 13's with simple bolt ons then the driver SUCKS!!...plain and simple.

A 5.0 LX with the Atkins diet & slicks with a 4k launch can get into high 13's with luck & conditions. Your every day GT & LX isn't going to do that, guy.

look at that link i posted long ago and you will see that 4000 appears to be quite a bit more than he spent. and he probably still gets extremely good gas mileage as opposed to a gas guzzler high compression 351
Show me your proof that he did it for under 3K. If you have the cash to build a 12 sec. car then you don't give two $hits about gas mileage either.

i believe you saw the timeslip list. what i drive is irrelevant to what i know anyway.


btw you totally contradicted yourself. if you have the money to build a 12 second car which apparently to you is cheap, then you should want good gas mileage. so huh?

That is cheap to me but I don't worry about fuel economy because I also have a stock '88GT and 92 honda accord, which is my g/f BTW
