89-95 SHO's had the option of a 5 sp MANUAL 3.0 V6 with 220 hp/200 ft lbs, or a 4 sp automatic 3.2L V6 with 220 hp/210 ft lbs. The cars ran anywhere from very low 15s to high 15s depending on driver and drivetrain configuration.
A stock 92 LX 5 speed runs right around high 14s with a very good driver, mid to low 15s with an average joe schmoe.
A SHO with mods can take a freaking V8. I've seen a turbo charged 90 SHO beat the crap out of a 2002 Corvette 6 speed manual... you know the ones that come with that 350 (underrated) hp LS1 V8. So come off your high horse already, you have no clue of anything about a SHO and you're doubting it simply because it has a V6.
yeah ive seen a turbo sho take a vet but he isnt talking about a highly modded sho, just one with a chip and injectors so im still putting my money on the mustang, also he isnt talking about a stock mustang
