Default This ok to support the car.....

for extended time period?

The 1st pick is the area on the k-member that the jack is on.

2nd is how far apart they are.

3rd is the car that will be carting my a$$ for the winter.

LOL, I had a hoodie on this morning when i picked it up.

800 bucks thing runs good, just had brakes, tires, speedo cable, fan switch, thermostat. Probably going to do the plugs and wires next week. Should make the winter no prob!

my winter car is a 95 olds cutlass, only 47,000 miles. V6, loaded with all power! It's a comfortable ride too, since they are made for grandma's

Understand, that I have NOT jacked mine up...hell, been over here and have not even driven my Stang yet. haha Any way, the only thing that concerns me about those pics is that it looks like the jacks are pretty close together and towards the center of the car. Meaning, it seems that it would be easy for the car to tilt to one side or the other if bumped...or someone...large tried to sit in it while it was up there. Not a super big deal I guess since the wheels/tires are still on there, but *I* would probably try to put 2 more out towards the sides "just in case."

Take care,
Ceyko

You are correct. They are a tad on the close side.

The rear ones are pushed out to the sides. The fronts need to be on the K-member to keep the unibody from getting screwed up so they have to be much closer together. The wheels and tires will be coming off soon.

As far as sitting in it, I already have(6-2, 200lbs). I have shook the car and it was solid. I have some junk rims with tires laying around and I will brobably throw them under there just incase it does come down it will land on something and keep the body up. IT WON'T FALL, so I have nothing to worry about.
