I have a 1991 Mustang convertable 5.0. I have been installing a new rear window because the last one shattered. Im down to cutting the holes for the bolts to go in at the bottom. I dont know quite how to explain this but I'll try. you have to cut holes in the fabric on the bottom so the bolts on the car can go throught for the bracket to hold the materal/window in place. There are two layers of fabric. My question is do I cut holes in both parts or just the inside one so the outer covers the bracket. This is how I think it goes in but it had been replaced befor and I belive they didnt do it quite right on the old one. But I want to be sure. Sorry if this is hard to understand. My final question is Does anyone have a site where I can get instalation manuels for this? that would be wonderfull if I could just get an installation manuel thanks alot if anyone can help.

hey man, i just replaced the top on my 94 last week. if it is the same as mine, you cut holes in both layers of fabric. we acutally cut like little triangles in the fabric, and stapled it ALOT to the little tacking strip that holds it to the back of the car. we put about 10-12 staples between every hole on the whole strip. mine has done fine so far.
