Yea, I'm not sure what to tell you. Mine was the back window. There were 3 bolts holding it on. I'm pretty sure most if not all motors will have at least 3 bolts holding it on. You have to wiggle it a bit to get it out from the gears. Same is true when you put it back in. I've never seen one that is rivited on. Perhaps you can go to an auto parts store and look at thier manuals on the shelf. No need to buy one, but it won't hurt for future reference.
