Default air fuel guage-narrow nband

Is there any place in the car entrior I can get a good ground. Auto meter told me to ground my guage to the engine block ????
Second question, can anyone talke a pic of the o2 wire they attached the purple wire to. I know it 60 pin, but I just don't know if I hooked it to the right wire. Pics please. The display has a solid green led to the far right, and at night it looks like thr air/fuel guage is working, but its very dim.
Any help would be appreciated.

I dont have any pics of the connection to the O2 sensor. My car is a 90, and I had 2 blacks and 1 white. The white is the ground, one black is the signal, one black is the return. Unfortunately, my schematics did not detail the difference in the two blacks. I had to connect to each one and check the gauge for a signal. I also had a ground problem with my gauges and had to run a #10 cu stand from the battery to the gauge cluster, no more problems. I replaced my 02 sensor at the same time I installed the gauge, so I hacked the old harness on the old sensor to find the correct wire, then installed the new sensor so the wiring would be correct and not cut up.

Do you like your A/F ratio gauge? I just put one in my car and the thing goes back and forth constanly...anoying. I was wondering if my O2 sensor was going bad or something.

Sorry, I can't really help....I only know how to do it on my car. But you should ground it on the engine if thaty what it says to do. I put mine on the engine to body ground bolt.

There is a hole in the firewall just above the fuse panel, this is where the main harness comes into the rear of the dash. Iused fiberglass rod and pushed it through the hole(gently). Tape the wire on the rod and pull it back through.
