98' stang 351 swap?
 

I am new and got a few questions, I am wondering if the T-5 Manual will hold up to the 351 I plan to drop in? This stang will be completly carburated. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate any input on everything to do with this swap. thanks much, Pat

Well im not sure about the tranny but i would reccomend trying to stay with fuel injection. It'll save you a lot of time and fustration. I got a 351 in my 69 stang and holley 670 street avenger and its a pain in the ass to jump under your hood all the time to tune it. Thats my 2 cents on the matter. Hey if you want a piece of reccomendation then stroke out the 351 before you put it in if your gonna put a carb on it. Im gonna stroke out my 351 to 408 before i drop it in my stang. Its gonna cost you some money but in the long run its gonna be well worth it. Imagine 465 horsepower with 500 torque. Then you can supercharge it too, maybe add some NOS and you'll have the quickest car in town. Thats what im gonna do. Not for a while though im gonna go into the army in a week and aint comin back for 6 months. lol
