Default getting the car in the air

in my days of youth i could have cared less how i jacked the car up. i am very lucky that i am not hurt to this day. now i am alot older and have alot of things that are worth living for. my question to you guys is what is the safest way to get my car in the air. i do have a dirt driveway with rocks which does stink. what i am thinking about is getting those things that you roll onto that lifts the car up. are these safe? obviously i would chalk the front wheels also when i use these. with my current living condition i think that is my best bet. thanks for the input in advance

Do you mean a drive on sizzors lift?
I go smarter as I got older and got
a bend pac lift. Dug 2 holes in driveway
added cement and mounted the two point
lift. $2400 devivered no tax was a steal.

Toiok it with me when I moved and mounted it
inside my garage. Now I can work inside.

no no no. nothing that major... ya know the little ramps that you can buy at like napa or autozone. the ones that you just drive up on. you can park the front or rear tires on these two ramps that lift the tires up probably almost two feet.

Yea they'll work. Some cars have frontends so low though that the bumper hits the ramp before the tires get near them [:@]

If you have ground effects you may need the
low entry set I think Home Depot or WalMart
have them. My Son-in-law used them with his
02 GT with good results.
