I bought the car used with everything already done to it, so I am going piece by piece to figure out what has really been done to it. Here are my questions:

1. They told me it had 3.55s gears. So i marked the wheel and driveline and spun the driveline 3 3/4 times to the wheel spinning one full rotation. Does this mean I have 3.73s?

2. When i bought the car they said it had a tremmec transmission with a short shifter. Well i does not have a short shifter, so I want to get one. They told me that it does not have the stock trans in it. How do i figure out what kind of transmission I have so I can get a shifter?

obviosly the noob you bought it from bousnt know what the f*ck he/she is doin. yes, the gears could be 3.73s. they probably are. about the tranny, he might have just got a rebuilt one and said it was diff cause hes a noob. look for a tag on the tranny with a serial number type thing on it. we can go from there.

Give us some 60 mph rpms in 5th gear and that should help pin point what gears you have.
