my rad and tranny cooling lines
I bought a ranger rad for like 10.00 the other day and I going to use it no matter what but my tranny cooling lines don't fit. I tried buying a tranny cooler but I got screwed around money was taken from me, I love ebay[&:]
anyways
I was wondering if I could just take my stock lines that I have on the car now and take say a piece of black rubber tubing and connect them to the fitting on the rad with a circular screw clamp. (the ones with the screw that when you tight it, it tightens around the hose) It'd work right?

RE: my rad and tranny cooling lines
Should work no problem. Just make sure you use good thick tubing like on the fuel lines and not that thin stuff you can tie into knots. Cut the fittings and some of the tubing off your current hard lines and connect them to the rad. Slide the rubber hose over them and clamp them. Or buy some hard line and some fittings, grab a flaring tool and piece it together.
Either way will work.
