As for the Steeda problem I have, I have been told I need to talk to erik there and I was given a # for him and have been trying to call him for 2 days, my 3rd streak of bad luck him not answering or is it still part of bad luck #1?? haha...hope all this non sense pans out.
If you paid by credit card and they won't respond, call your credit card company and do a CHARGE BACK, that'll get 'Erik' to respond fast.

First things first tint...The tint shop here isextremly reputable and I have been going to them for years, must have been my bad luck, and yes I did have a sun strip put on thats why the windshield cracked. It was about 4 degrees the night I had them tinted.
they lost all their common sense putting heat on a windshield with the temp that low! they should have turned on the defroster and warmed up the windshield really good first before they got started with any additional heat. no damn wonder it cracked. it won't your bad luck, it was there stupidity that did this.[:@]

You couldn't wait until spring or summer before you decided to get a sun strip put on?

Any extreme temp change when its that cold will certainly crack glass.. saw lots of people do it in back in highschool chemistry

cut him some slack man, around here the winter sun is just brutal during the morning rush hour especially if you have to drive east right into it with it just barely above the trees. I use a stick-on interior vinyl sun strip on mine just for that reason.
