post starting noise
 

Ok so I got a 2000 V6 with a Pytlon Alarm System. I bought the car with the alarm so I'm not sure if the starter kill piece is there, but I'm getting a weird noise from the engine bay just after the car starts. I think it is coming from the starter, but im not 100%. It happens just after I bring the key back from the starting position and the noise lasts for like two seconds. Its sounds like there is a small piece rolling or a strong electrical spark coming off the starter. I can't see the starter to check if there is any sparks coming from around it, but when I looked and had someone start it I didn't see anything. But I need some help finding out whats goin on!!

does it sound like something rattling around then stops?

maybe the starter's not disengaging right away?
