Is there anyone on here that is willing to run a car fax for me? I bought my GT in late feb from gus machdo ford and was lied too! They told me my car had never been crashed and even gave me a report. Now I went this morning to World Ford for a tranny leak and was told that my drivers fender and door have been replaced and my frame might be bent!!!! I'm ****! they might not cover my warranty now because of this. I have to find out because i will be returning this car if so!

Car fax may not reveal the accident. It is very possible that the accident was unreported.

They had given me a clean report and even inspected the car for me to give me the 75k extended warranty, now I never noticed the door was missing the VIN stick and decals but that's something they would know about!

First they sell me a car with blem tires (which didn't bother me i was going with 315's) now this! This car was owned by the finance guy at the dealer ship and i even spoke with him before hand. HE stated no crashes yaddy yaddy....

Now The car is at the dealer (world ford) getting inspected hopefully it was minor damage and will not effect my warranty on my tranny. but if so what can i do about it?

That's the problem with Carfax.You only get info that's been reported.I looked at a Camaro that had obvious damage history and the dealer told me the Carfax report was clean.He even offered to show me the report.I declined and walked away,never to return.
If the report you get from here shows no damage history,you might have a case IF you can show evidence of damage to the dealer who sold you the car.It has been awhile since you bought the car and since you haven't had problems with the alignment you might be stuck.read "screwed".
The warranty covering the transmission should not be effected by damage to the door,fender,and frame.
Things like this can be avoided altogether if you look for mismatched VIN tags on fenders,doors,hoods,etc.Improper fitting parts with varying gaps between doors,hoods,and fenders are also a good indicator of damage.Overspray on any part of the car (even underneath) is a dead giveaway.

I normally ask for an "Oasis" search from Ford, through a dealer service department. (Not necessarily the dealer I want to buy the car from).

My local Ford dealer does this for me whenever I wanted to buy an "Off Lease" Continental.

sorry but it didnt come up all nice but in there you can see the trans was repaired at one time

Wow Thanks! That's what I really needed, I was just called (Few hours ago) And they stated it seemed the cars tranny was worked on before but they never stated it was with the dealer for a factory warranty repair.
