RE: Get the most HP possibe
Some of the cheapest and most power gain is not even a engine add on....it's suspension and gearing. Horsepower and torque is great but how youtransfer it to the ground is a huge part of the horsepower game.

The best thing to do is just ask ask and ask. Ask people what they are running how it handles and what they think of it. I would say though the very first thing to do is gears. 4.10 for an auto and 3.73 for a 5spd manual.

Gears:
ok
the higher up you go in the numbers, the earlier you have to shift.
They don't increase horsepower but they greatly increase the cars speed if that makes since.
4.10 are racing gears and you have to shift pretty quickly. Fast at the start but unless you got some mods don't have great top end speed. I unless you love to race or want to shift really quickly i would go lower than this. my buddy put these on his 01 stang. It was a lot faster and got it down with pos traction for $500+ plus installed. But thats in Michigan and I dont know where your from
373 (I HAVE) are nice. You gotdont need to shift to late or too soon they rock.
353/350 gears a kinda the same only you let those run at higher rpm when you go.
Where can you get them done? the nearest performance shop or car place nearby.
GOOD LUCK.
Your just like me street racer.
Add some gears 1st
then suspension
then you can do some intake/exhaust work(this would include after market headers. That should get you where you want to be.Lil things hear and there. Maybe an intercooler or electric fan. An electric fan adds a lil HP but a lil is better than none I always say.
If not then put on some pullies and hope for the best.
If your still not satisfied- NOS/TURBO/PERFORMANCE CHIP?
