Default Ecam 1.72's and stock springs?

Whos run this setup with the stock springs?! I hate changing springs in the car, its a total PITA. Its an AOD car and its not a race car just want the lack of idle quality. And the cam was free.

Changing springs may be a pia, but not as much as pulling valves out of your pistons

An e cam with 1.7's is like what, .530 lift? With prolly a faster ramp rate than the stock cam that had a .444 lift isn't it? I doubt it'd make itpast 5,000rpm without floating. That and it's putting more stress on those springs than they were designed for, so they'll just fail sooner

The stock springs may not even have the capacity to give you the lift of the cam, resulting in coil bind. Make sure to get springs that are matched to the cam. It isn't that hard of an operation with an air compressor and the right spring tool.
